The invention relates to a process for sectionally closing and hoisting pile legs of a self-elevating offshore oil platform through a crawler crane, and belongs to the technical field of equipment hoisting processes. The crawler crane at the corresponding energy level is used for closing the pile legs; the pile legs of the self-elevating platform can be closed on land or closed after entering the sea according to the height difference and the performance parameters of the crawler crane.
