The invention discloses a crane positioning system for a workshop. The system comprises a wireless detection device, a monitoring device and a speed adjusting device, wherein the monitoring device comprises a data processing module, a wireless receiving module and a display module; the wireless detection device comprises a positioning module, an image acquiring module, a wireless sending module and a distance measuring module; the image acquiring module is used for acquiring image data below a crane in real time; the distance measuring module is used for detecting distance data between the crane and a target in real time; the positioning module is used for determining a target position of the crane; the wireless sending module is used for sending the acquired image data, distance data and target position of the crane to the wireless receiving module; and the data processing module processes the data received by the wireless receiving module. The system effectively controls the crane to be precisely positioned according to the target position, so that the problem of low manual positioning accuracy is prevented, and the working efficiency is effectively improved.
