The invention relates to an end supporting piece for a truss. The supporting piece is composed of a side plate, an upper plate and a lower plate, wherein the side plate, the upper plate and the lower plate are as long as one another. The upper plate is perpendicularly and fixedly installed at the top end of the side plate. The lower plate is perpendicularly and fixedly installed in the middle of the side plate. Reinforcing rib plates are arranged between the upper plate and the lower plate at equal intervals. At least five groups of threaded holes used for connection are formed in the surface of the lower plate at equal intervals. The end supporting piece is designed based on finite element calculation and is formed by welding the steel plates, overall flaw detection is carried out, the rib plates are used for reinforcement, and it is proved through tests that the end supporting piece can bear loads over 80 tons.
