The invention relates to a novel multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle achieving low cruising energy consumption. The novel multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle comprises an aerial vehicle body. Multiple vertical motors are symmetrically installed on the two sides of the aerial vehicle body respectively and provide lift force for the unmanned aerial vehicle. The output ends of the multiple vertical motors are all provided with propeller blades. The novel multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle is characterized in that a horizontal power output device is installed in the aerial vehicle body and used for outputting power to the unmanned aerial vehicle in the horizontal direction. The horizontal power output device installed in the aerial vehicle body is matched with the vertical motors and the aerial vehicle body, so that it is avoided that a dip angle is manually made when the multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle horizontally moves, and therefore the air resistance bearing area of the aerial vehicle body is reduced. In this way, the energy consumption of the multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle is lowered, and the cruising mileage and the cruising speed of the multi-axis unmanned aerial vehicle are increased.
