The invention discloses a striding type motorcycle rack structure which comprises an outer framework integrally of a U-shaped structure. The front ends of the outer framework obliquely extend downwards to form main installing supporting pins, a horizontal reinforcing rod and a vertical reinforcing rod are fixedly connected to the rear portions of the two sides of the outer framework, and installing columns are further arranged under the rear portions of the outer framework. The striding type motorcycle rack structure is characterized in that the vertical reinforcing rod is obtained by welding the middle of the front end of a bent rod wholly in a backward-opening U shape to the horizontal reinforcing rod and welding the rear portions of the two sides of the bent rod to the tail portion of the outer framework, and the rear ends of the two sides of the bent rod are bent downwards and extend along the positions of welding points at the tail portion of the outer framework to form the installing columns. The invention further discloses a striding type motorcycle rack structure installing method based on the striding type motorcycle rack structure. The striding motorcycle rack structure has the beneficial effects of being simple in structure, convenient and quick to install, high in assembling efficiency, good in assembling stability and capable of well meeting the requirements of markets in mountain road areas.
