The invention relates to a smart car auxiliary brake system for pedal misapplication. The auxiliary brake system comprises an accelerator pedal position sensor and a speed sensor assembly; an accelerating region, an accelerating region tail-end reminding region and an emergency braking region are distributed on an effective stroke track of the auxiliary brake system, wherein an accelerator pedal has a stoke which is the same as that of a current vehicle in the accelerating interval; conductive contacts capable of measuring speed are distributed at certain intervals within the accelerating region and the reminding region;the speed of the accelerator pedal moving from one conductive contact to another conductive contact can be judged by detecting the movement time between said two conductive contacts, so that whether to brake or not can be determined. The auxiliary brake system has the characteristics of being simple in processing and manufacturing, low in manufacturing cost, high in reliability and accurate in judgment, and can be widely mounted on vehicles of various old and new models.
