The invention discloses safe soft landing equipment and a soft landing method for an air accident of an airship/hot-air balloon. The equipment includes gas protection layers, a gas manufacturing box, and an electrical ignition control unit; the gas protection layers are arranged on the bottom and the outside of a hanging basket or a manned cabin at the lower side of a hot-air balloon/airship; the gas manufacturing box and the electrical ignition control unit are arranged in an appropriate location of the hanging basket or the manned cabin at the lower side of the hot-air balloon/airship; when an air accident happens, an ignition key is pressed, or the electrical ignition control unit is controlled by remote control, a height sensor and the like to allow the gas manufacturing box to electrically ignite, or a mechanical ignition switch on the gas manufacturing box is turned on; the gas protection layers are opened, the frictional force between the huge gas protection layers and air is generated, and the falling speed of the hanging basket or the manned cabin is inhibited by the buoyancy force; the gas protection layers are between a ground/water surface/... and the hanging basket or the manned cabin while the airship/hot-air balloon is landing, so that the soft landing is achieved, and a man can be protected.
