The invention discloses helicopter in-flight shutdown safe-combination soft landing equipment and a soft landing method. The equipment is formed by a plurality of gas protection layers, a plurality of gas producing boxes, an electrical control unit, a helicopter propeller positioning, damping and braking device and a plurality of dual-purpose parachutes in a combined manner. When an emergency situation occurs, the gas protection layers are controlled to be unfolded to wrap the belly, the body and the tail of a helicopter through keys, a remote controller or sensors by virtue of the electrical control unit or a pull-rope mechanical switch, simultaneously the helicopter propeller positioning, shock absorbing and braking device is controlled to act to enable a propeller to be positioned and damped and stop rotating, then one or a plurality of dual-purpose parachutes are carried by rockets to rise to the highest point, and the dual-purpose parachutes are inflated and unfolded; under the effect of the parachutes and the gas protection layers, the descending speed of the helicopter is inhibited, the helicopter is landed on the gas protection layers during landing, soft landing and buffering are realized and the helicopter can also be landed on water.
