The invention relates to a mining self-compressing overhead man-riding device, comprising a lifting hook. The right side of the lifting hook is provided with a slideway. The slideway is internally provided with a pressing tongue which can slide in the slideway. The left end of the pressing tongue is in an arc shape. The right end of the lifting hook is provided with a baffle. The middle part of the baffle, on the position corresponding to the slideway, is provided with a hole. The baffle is connected with a suspender through a hinge joint method. The left end face of the suspender, corresponding to the hole, is welded with a pressing block. The left end of the pressing block passes through hole and can press on the right end face of the pressing tongue. The middle part of the suspender is provided with a support ring. The left side and the right side on the support ring are respectively provided with a protection shed. One end of the protection shed is provided with a notch. The two protection sheds are connected through a bolt. The two notches surround the suspender, and the two notches press the support ring. The suspender which is provided with the pressing block and has a certain angle with a vertical plane is used to hang workers on the overhead man-riding device, and gravity of the workers is used to press the lifting hook on a steel wire rope, and the compression is reliable and use is convenient.
