The invention discloses a novel guide-pipe-type propeller. The novel guide-pipe-type propeller comprises blades, a propeller hub, a rotating shaft and a flow restraining cylinder. The blades are fixedly connected with the propeller hub. A shaft hole is formed in the propeller hub. The propeller hub is connected with the rotating shaft through a key. The blades are arranged in the middle of the flow restraining cylinder, and gaps are reserved between the outer edges of the blades and the flow restraining cylinder. A flow restraining ring structure is arranged at the front portion of the flow restraining cylinder. A flow restraining ring is fixedly connected with the front portion and the back portion of the flow restraining cylinder through connecting strips. The novel guide-pipe-type propeller is unique in structural design; and due to the flow restraining ring structure additionally arranged in the flow restraining cylinder, water flow fluctuation in a cylinder wall region at the water outlet end of the flow restraining cylinder is effectively buffered, the work stability of the flow restraining ring is improved, and the use performance of a ship thruster is further improved.
