The invention discloses a transmittance-controllable vehicle window and a thermal control system thereof, and relates to a vehicle window and a thermal control system thereof. The transmittance-controllable vehicle window and the thermal control system aim at solving the problems that when parked in the opening, existing vehicles are directly irradiated by sunlight, so that the temperature rapidly rises, and existing vehicle-mounted temperature control technologies are high in energy consumption, incapable of continuously working and poor in flexibility. A gap is reserved between two transparent boards of the vehicle window, a plurality of medium particles are located between the two transparent boards, and gaps between the multiple medium particles are filled with filling medium liquid, wherein the refractive index of the filling medium liquid is equal to that of the medium particles, and the refractive index of the medium particles is larger than 1.4. A working cavity of the thermal control system of the vehicle window is communicated with the gap between the two transparent boards, and a driving motor provides power, through which a push-pull assembly reciprocates in the working cavity, for the push-pull assembly; and the control signal output end of a controller is connected with the control signal input end of the motor, and the driving signal output end of the motor is connected with the driving signal input end of the push-pull assembly. The transmittance-controllable vehicle window and the thermal control system are used for temperature reduction of vehicles.
