The invention discloses a truss type rear column structure and foundation for a boarding bridge. The truss type rear column structure and foundation are used for mounting a rotation platform of the boarding bridge and supporting various loads of the boarding bridge. The rotation platform is connected with a rotation bearing and a truss type rear column upper flange through a bottom flange. Four guide tubes on the lower portion of a truss type rear column are subjected to grouting to be connected integrally with four steel tube piles which are sunk into the foundation respectively after the position of the truss type rear column is determined and the truss type rear column is adjusted to be horizontal. The invention further discloses a construction method for the truss type rear column structure and foundation for the boarding bridge. Compared with prior rear column foundations for boarding bridges, the truss type rear column structure and foundation have the advantages of being easy to produce, convenient to mount, low in engineering cost and capable of eliminating technical risks of boarding bridge collapse caused by brittle failure of foundation bolts.
