An electric braking device for a vehicle wherein: a first degree of contribution (Ka1) associated with the actual pressing force value (Fba), which is the detected value of the pressing force of a friction member, and a second degree of contribution (Ke2) associated with an estimated pressing force value (Fbe), which is the estimated value of the pressing force calculated on the basis of the position of an electric motor, are determined on the basis of the operation amount (Bpa) of a braking operation member; the second degree of contribution is determined to be larger than the first degree of contribution when the operation amount is small; the first degree of contribution is determined to be larger than the second degree of contribution when the operation amount is large; a combined pressing force (Fbx) is calculated on the basis of a value (Fbxa) obtained by accounting for the first degree of contribution in the actual pressing force value and a value (Fbxe) obtained by accounting for the second degree of contribution in the estimated pressing force value; and a target power supply amount for the electric motor is calculated on the basis of the combined pressing force and a target pressing force (Fbt), which is calculated from the operation amount.
