An anti running rod control system of a rotary drilling rig comprises a first detection unit, a second detection unit, a controller and an execution unit, the first detection unit is used to detect a main winch rising pilot pressure value and transmit the detected main winch rising pilot pressure value to the controller, and the second detection unit is used to detect a main winch falling pilot pressure value and transmit the detected main winch falling pilot pressure value to the controller. The controller determines that an operating handle has left a middle position according to the received main winch rising pilot pressure value or the main winch falling pilot pressure value, controls a main winch to rise or fall, starts the anti-running rod monitoring of the anti-running rod control system, after the anti-running rod monitoring is started, controls an anti-running rod solenoid valve to be turned on when determining that the operating handle is about to return to the middle position according to the received main winch rising pilot pressure value or the main winch falling pilot pressure value. The anti-running rod control system prevents a drilling rod downward running phenomenon, enables the working efficiency to be improved, and guarantees the construction safety.
