The invention discloses an electric moped. The electric moped comprises a moped frame, a chain wheel and a flywheel, wherein the chain wheel is driven to rotate through pedal force applied on a pedal by a driver, and the flywheel is used for driving vehicle wheels; the electric moped also comprises an annular force transmission mechanism, a supporting mechanism, a power steering motor and a tensing device, wherein the force transmission mechanism is hung between the chain wheel and the flywheel and can circularly rotate so as to form a force transmission path; the supporting mechanism is arranged on the force transmission path and used for supporting the force transmission mechanism and bearing force applied by the force transmission mechanism when the force transmission mechanism transmits the torque of the chain wheel to the flywheel; the power steering motor is used for supplying electrodynamic force assisting the pedal force and electrodynamic force output responding to force applied on the supporting mechanism and/or force change; the tensing device is used for tensing the force transmission mechanism and arranged to accordingly rotate when the stress position of the supporting mechanism is changed so as to maintain the tensing state of the force transmission mechanism, and the tensing device and the supporting mechanism are in linkage and have moving trends in the roughly same direction.
