The invention discloses a railway vehicle and a joint connector thereof. The joint connector comprises a convex joint and a concave joint which are matched. The convex joint is connected with the concave joint through a traction pin. The axis of the traction pin extends in the transverse direction. The traction pin is connected with the convex joint in a rotatable mode through a joint bearing. Compared with a traditional joint connector, the joint connector has the advantages that the rotating connecting relationship between the convex joint and the concave joint is achieved through a standard piece, namely the joint bearing, and the machining difficulty and the manufacturing cost are reduced. In addition, the traction pin is connected with the joint bearing through a shaft sleeve, the traction pin is matched with the shaft sleeve through a wedge-shaped structure, and a wedge block is further inserted into a longitudinal gap between the traction pin and the concave joint, so that when the vehicle runs, the traction pin bears a vertical load all the time, vertical relative displacement occurs between the traction pin and the shaft sleeve and between the traction pin and the concave joint accordingly, a longitudinal gap between the traction pin and the shaft sleeve and the longitudinal gap between the traction pin and the concave joint are accordingly eliminated through the wedge-shaped structure and the wedge block respectively, and then the running stability of the vehicle is guaranteed.
