The invention discloses an electric vehicle braking power requirement judging circuit, which is characterized in that a displacement sensor is installed on a braking pedal, when the braking pedal is stepped down, the displacement sensor produces output voltage, and the output voltage passes a processing circuit and is transmitted into a braking energy recycling controller; the braking energy recycling controller controls a hydraulic system to decrease hydraulic braking force and meanwhile increase electric braking force, the hydraulic braking force and the electric braking force are combined, total braking force is output, and thus energy recovery is realized. By adopting the structure, motor braking force can be quickly confirmed, the response is fast, safety and reliability are realized, the structure is simple, and the production cost is not increased too much.
