The invention addresses the problem of providing an airbag fabric and an airbag comprising same. The airbag fabric is excellent in terms of the misalignment degree against a load applied to a sewn portion in the airbag and the strength of the sewn portion. The present invention is an airbag fabric comprising a synthetic fiber, wherein the airbag fabric is characterized in that the elongation of the fabric at a constant load (a load of 98 N/30 mm) is 1 to 5%, and the residual strain is 0.1 to 1.5% when the airbag fabric is held for ten minutes under an application of a load of 98 N/30 mm, and then is left to stand for ten minutes with the load removed. The strength of the sewn portion is preferably 1200 N or more in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction.
