본 발명은 에어백의 봉제부에 가해지는 부하에 대한 코 어긋남량 및 봉제부 강도가 우수한 에어백용 직물과, 그것을 포함하는 에어백을 제공하는 것을 과제로 한다. 본 발명은 합성 섬유를 포함하는 직물이며, 직물의 정하중(98N/30㎜의 하중) 연신율이 1 내지 5%, 98N/30㎜의 하중을 가하고 10분간 유지한 후, 하중을 제거하고 10분간 방치했을 때의 잔류 변형률이 0.1 내지 1.5%인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 직물이다. 봉제부 강도가 세로 방향, 가로 방향 모두 1200N 이상인 것이 바람직하다.

    An object of the invention is to provide an airbag fabric excellent in slippage amount and strength in sewing portion against a burden onto a sewing portion of the airbag; and an airbag made of this airbag fabric. The invention provides an airbag fabric made of a synthetic fiber, the fabric having a constant (load of 98 N/30 mm) elongation of 1 to 5% and having a residual strain rate of 0.1 to 1.5%, the residual strain rate being obtained when the fabric is allowed to stand still for 10 minutes from the removal of the 98 N/30 mm load after the retention of the fabric for 10 minutes while the 98 N/30 mm load is applied to the fabric. The strength in sewing portion is preferably 1200 N or more in each of the warp and the weft.
