The invention relates to an antitheft electronic control ignition locking system for an electric vehicle and a control method of the antitheft electronic control ignition locking system and solves the problem that an antitheft system is excessively high in cost in the prior art. According to the technical scheme, the antitheft electronic control ignition locking system comprises fixing part, a safety lock, a mechanical linkage contact, a safety control circuit and a safety key matched with the safety lock, wherein the safety lock and the safety control circuit are fixed on the fixing part; the safety control circuit comprises a main controller, an electronic control switch, a matching detection sensor and a lock cylinder rotation angle detection sensor; the safety lock comprises a lock cover, a lock casing, a plurality of insertion pieces, a lock cylinder and a sliding lock head; the matching detection sensor and the lock cylinder rotation angle detection sensor are connected with the main controller; the control end of the electronic control switch is connected with the main controller; the main controller is further electrically connected with the horn of the electric vehicle. The antitheft electronic control ignition locking system is low in cost, good in antitheft performance, stable and reliable in work, low in power consumption and compatible with installation environments.
