The invention relates to the field of aerostat design, in particular to a hydrogen energy source airship which comprises an airship body and a pod, wherein the airship body comprises a main airbag and an auxiliary airbag; the main airbag is filled with hydrogen as a rising gas; the auxiliary airbag is filled with air; a propulsion unit and a power system are arranged on the pod; the propulsion unit drives the airship to advance; the power system is used for providing power for the propulsion unit; the power system adopts a hydrogen fuel engine adopting hydrogen as a fuel; the power system and the main airbag are communicated through a gas pipeline. The airship adopts hydrogen as the rising gas and the fuel, and hydrogen as the fuel and hydrogen as the rising gas can be mutually converted, so that the airship can not only achieve the environmental protection due to zero exhaust emission, but also control the flight height well, and has a favorable height holding capability.
