The invention discloses a driving device used for a racing bicycle. The driving device comprises a bicycle body, pedals, a first driving large chain wheel and a flywheel, wherein the first driving large chain wheel is connected with the flywheel through a chain. The driving device further comprises a small chain wheel, a second driving large chain wheel, a braking connecting rod and an ultra-long lever, wherein the small chain wheel is connected with the second driving large chain wheel through a driving large chain. The small chain wheel is connected with the first driving large chain wheel through a first connecting piece. The second driving large chain wheel is connected with the flywheel through a second connecting piece. The opposite ends of the braking connecting rod and the ultra-long lever are rotatably connected, and the deviation ends of the braking connecting rod and the ultra-long lever are movably connected with a pedal center shaft and the second connecting piece respectively. The driving device successfully breaks through the driving force energy bottleneck on the bicycle by an existing chicken leg lever of which the length is about 170 mm; the ultra-long lever of which the length is about 700 mm has strong driving force energy larger than that of the chicken leg lever by multiple times; moreover, the mandatory standard that bending of the leg joints of a rider is controlled within 35 degrees when the pedals perform star-shaped rotation is kept successfully.
