The invention discloses an energy-saving auxiliary steering device. Two damping modules are arranged at symmetrical positions on the two sides of a steering gear in a steering module respectively so that damping force borne by the steering module can be symmetrical in the left-right direction and steering of a turning plate can be more stable. The steering plate is arranged at the upper end of a steering shaft. The steering gear is arranged at the lower end of the steering shaft. The steering gear and racks in the damping modules rotate in a gear meshing mode. Piston rods are machined at the two ends of each rack respectively. A hydraulic oil way through which a left hydraulic cylinder and a right hydraulic cylinder are communicated is machined in each rack and the corresponding piston rods. Pistons are arranged on the piston rods. Damping holes are machined in the pistons. A regulating valve is arranged in the middle of each hydraulic oil way in the corresponding rack. The flowing speed of hydraulic oil in the hydraulic oil ways can be regulated through the regulating valves. For industrial vehicles of different dead weights, the magnitude of the steering damping force of the steering plate can be regulated by regulating the valves, and therefore steering of existing industrial vehicles can be safer and more reliable.
