The present invention provides an operation method (30). During a braking recuperation process (32), kinetic energy of a motor vehicle (10) is converted into electrical energy using a generator (14). The method comprises determining, during the braking recuperation process (32), the undesired influence on the motor vehicle (10) that is caused by the braking recuperation process (32) and counteracting the determined undesired influence in a counteracting process (34). In addition, the present invention also provides the motor vehicle (10) designed to execute the operation method (30).
