The invention discloses an electric vehicle with variable rear-wheel-drive wheels. The electric vehicle comprises a front wheel and a rear wheel, wherein the rear wheel comprises a left rear wheel and a right rear wheel, the left rear wheel and the right rear wheel can be separated and combined; the left rear wheel and the right rear wheel are respectively provided with a driving motor; the left rear wheel and the right rear wheel are respectively arranged on two vehicle frame rods, movable connecting rods are arranged between the inner sides of the two vehicle frame rods, and a driving device for driving the two vehicle frame rods to be separated or combined is arranged between the vehicle frame rods. Through the utilization of the electric vehicle disclosed by the invention, the wheels can be separated or combined, and the electric vehicle can be freely switched between a two wheel state and a three wheel state according to the actual driving environment.
