The present invention provides a front vehicle driver unsafe driving behavior detection device which comprises a vehicle speed sensor which is arranged on a wheel tachometer and is used for collecting the speed of a vehicle, a lane recognition sensor which is installed above a front windshield and is used for collecting the distances between left and right wheels of the front shaft of the vehicle and a lane line, a vehicle-borne millimeter-wave radar which is installed at the center of a front bumper and is used for measuring the relative position of a front vehicle to the vehicle, a camera which is installed above the windshield and is used for collecting front vehicle width and the lane line number between the front vehicle and the vehicle, a data processing unit, a vehicle-borne CAN bus, an image processor, and a vehicle-borne alarm which is installed next to a dashboard and is used for carrying out early warning on a driver. The present invention also provides a front vehicle driver unsafe driving behavior detection method. Through the detection of the vehicle and the front vehicle, the unsafe driving behavior of a front vehicle driver is identified, thus the driver can avoid the front vehicle in advance, and an accident is prevented.
