The invention discloses a climbing mechanism of a climbing robot. The climbing mechanism comprises a rotary disk, wherein a steering shaft is horizontally and fixedly arranged at the middle of the rotary disk in a penetrating manner, and grasping modules for climbing are arranged at the upper end and the lower end of the rotary disk respectively; two electromagnetic steering mechanisms are symmetrically arranged on the steering shaft on the left side and the right side of the rotary disk, each of the electromagnetic steering mechanisms comprises a protective casing, a permanent magnet and two electromagnetic movable devices, the protective casing covers the outermost layer, the permanent magnet is perpendicularly and fixedly arranged on the steering shaft in the penetrating manner, and the two electromagnetic movable devices are symmetrically arranged on two sides of an axis of the steering shaft; each of the electromagnetic movable devices comprises electromagnets and magnetism permeating movable blocks, one electromagnet is fixed in each of the protective casings, the magnetism permeating movable blocks can be absorbed by the electromagnets, and a stretching spring is arranged between the every two magnetism permeating movable blocks in a connecting manner. According to the climbing mechanism disclosed by the invention, the transformation of a mechanical hand and a sucking disk is realized through the electromagnetic steering mechanisms, the climbing mechanism is simple to control and lower in energy consumption, alternate climbing of the mechanical hand and the sucking disk of the climbing robot is realized, and the transformation of various climbing mechanisms is realized.
