Disclosed is a direct road brake. The current vehicle tire needs to bear the vehicle pressure and the strong friction with the ground during braking and accordingly the service life of the current vehicle tire is short in comparison with the single wheel walking function. According to the direct road brake, a braking system is simplified, the production difficulty and the production cost are reduced, the use is safe, the maintenance is convenient, and the service life of the tire is nearly doubled due to the fact that the tire is not crushed and is mainly broken through the friction with the ground during braking due to a plurality of black marks on the road; one third of the rubber tire is saved and accordingly the contribution to global environment-friendly effect is enormous apart from economic benefits; the using time of a steel rail and a steel wheel can be greatly extended undoubtedly if the direct road brake is transplanted onto a high-speed rail.
