A gas discharge structure for a vehicle is provided with: a first gas discharge passage (H1) which has at least a part thereof configured from a gas discharge duct (25A) having a duct air intake opening (26) open toward a battery (11A) disposed below a rear seat (15), and which has a box gas discharge opening (43A); and a second gas discharge passage (H2) which is connected to the box gas discharge opening (43A), includes a space defined by the front end, with respect to the vehicle, of a deck board (20) provided in the trunk (13) and by at least a part of the seat back (15B) of the rear seat (15), and has a gap (S2) defined by the front face of the front end of the deck board (20) and by a portion of the back face (15C) of the seat back (15B), the portion facing the front face. The gas discharge structure is characterized by being configured so that gas having cooled the battery (11A) passes through a duct gas discharge passage section (R1), a box gas discharge passage section (R2), a first space gas discharge passage section (R3), and a second space gas discharge passage section (R4) and can be discharged from the gap (S2) into the trunk (13).
