The invention discloses a vehicle avoidance method including the following steps that when a special vehicle performs a task, early warning information is sent to a remote server and includes the position information and avoidance requests of the special vehicle; the remote server broadcasts the early warning information to other vehicles; and the other vehicles send early warning based on the avoidance requests and take corresponding avoidance measures based on the position information of the vehicle. The vehicle avoidance method and avoidance system are advantageous in that the avoidance request signals of the special vehicle are sent to social vehicles in advance, so that the social vehicles ahead the special vehicle can receive the avoidance request signals in advance to take the avoidance measures such as lane change and deceleration to prevent the special vehicle from being jammed on the way to miss the emergency treatment opportunities and cause huge losses.
