The invention relates to a brake device for an automobile, in particular to a lightweight wheel brake structure. The lightweight wheel brake structure comprises a ring-shaped brake plate, wherein the outer edge of the brake plate is connected to the inner side of a rim of a wheel; and the inner edge of the brake plate is matched with a brake caliper. The problem that the existing brake is poor in brake efficiency and stability and short in service life is solved. The lightweight wheel brake structure is high in stability and long in service life.
