The invention relates to a bidirectional container turnover device which comprises a lower frame with a lifting oil cylinder inside, an upper frame, a lifting frame, a hoisting and rotary locking mechanism, a ladder and guard bars. The bidirectional container turnover device is characterized in that a movable column is assembled in the lower frame in a sliding mode, and the lower end of the movable column is hinged to the top end of a cylinder rod of the lifting oil cylinder. A hinge plate is fixed to the top end of the movable column, the hinge plate is hinged to the upper frame through a central rotary shaft, and hinged to a turnover frame through the center rotary shaft, a primary turnover oil cylinder is arranged on the movable column, and the top end of a cylinder rod of the primary turnover oil cylinder is hinged to an oil cylinder seat at the top end of the turnover frame, a secondary turnover oil cylinder is arranged on a middle stand column of the upper frame, a cylinder rod of the secondary turnover oil cylinder is hinged to an oil cylinder seat arranged in the middle of the turnover frame, an upper limiting column is arranged on the side face of the lower end of the turnover frame, and a lower limiting column corresponding to the upper limiting column is arranged on the side face of the upper end of the movable column. The bidirectional container turnover device is reasonable in structural design, safe and reliable to use, high in operating efficiency, small in occupied site area and high in practicality, and production cost is lowered.
