According to a traction machine of the present invention, an axial distance between a first floating pin and a second floating pin can keep a certain interval when the relative position relation of a first installing part and a second installing part of an installing clamp changes due to the thermal expansion. The traction machine 103 of the present invention is equipped with a rope wheel 214 possessing winding hanging rope, a brake disc 211 fixed on a rotating shaft 213 and an electromagnetic chuck brake 209 for braking the rotation movement of the rope wheel 214 by utilizing the clamp 201 to press a brake shoe on the brake disc 211. The clamp 201 is supported by the first installing part 204 and the second installing part 205 which are arranged on a main body 208 and the first and second floating pins, so that the brake disc 211 is arranged on the main body 208. The traction machine 103 is also equipped with a shifting mechanism 233 enabling the second floating pin to shift in a vertical direction relative to the axial direction.
