The present invention relates to an upright three-wheeled vehicle having shock absorbing means, comprising: a pair of rear wheel units; a footboard unit connected between the pair of rear wheel units, for a rider to place both feet in an upright state and ride; a handlebar unit formed extending above the frame, for controlling the rotating direction of a front wheel unit; a frame including a connecting frame having a bottom portion of a shaft of the handle unit rotatably installed therein, a fixed frame fixing and connecting the front top surface of the footboard unit at both sides of the connecting frame, a first variable frame connected to an end of a shaft of the handlebar unit and rotating the front wheel unit in connection with the rotation of the shaft, and a second variable frame coupled to both ends of the first variable frame and fixed and installed on a central shaft of the front wheel unit; and shock absorbing means installed between the upper central portion of the second variable frame and the upper central portion of the first variable frame, for absorbing shocks by receiving forwardly biased force acting upon a rider due to inertial force when stopping.
