The invention discloses a self-cooling device for a ship. The self-cooling device for the ship relates to the technical field of ship manufacturing, and comprises a ship body, wherein a water ballast space is arranged in the ship body; a cooling water inlet is formed in the outer side of the lower part of each side of the ship body; a cooling water outlet is formed in the outer side of the upper part of each side of the ship body; a main cooling pipeline is arranged between the cooling water inlet and the cooling water outlet; in the main cooling pipeline, a first stop valve, a first water pump, a second stop valve, a ship main engine and a third stop valve are sequentially connected from the cooling water inlet; a cooling water inlet branch pipeline is connected between the second stop valve and the ship main engine in the main cooling pipeline; a fourth stop valve and a second water pump are connected onto the cooling water inlet branch pipeline; a cooling water return branch pipeline is connected between the ship main engine and a third stop valve; a fifth stop valve is connected onto the cooling water return branch pipeline. The self-cooling device for the ship can solve the problem that sea ice cannot cool the ship main engine or mechanical equipment in winter.
