The invention relates to a laser-bonded structure and a laser bonding method, wherein the laser-bonded structure is characterized in that the deterioration of strength or rigidity of a third plate (16) is suppressed, said third plate being disposed by being spaced apart from at least two metal plates (12, 14). The laser-bonded structure (10) is provided with: at least two metal plates (12, 14), which have two or more overlapping portions where the metal plates are disposed in a state wherein the metal plates are overlapping each other, and which are bonded by means of laser welding sections; and a third plate (16) that is disposed by being spaced apart from the overlapping portions. The third plate (16) has formed therein penetrating sections (26) of a number smaller than the number of the laser welding sections (30), said penetrating sections penetrating the third plate, and having laser light radiated to the overlapping portions.
