The invention provides a suspension operation apparatus and an operation method. The suspension operation apparatus can movably suspend beneath a ferromagnetic undersurface of a platform. The operation apparatus comprises an operation carrier and a suction hanging mechanism. The operation carrier is provided with at least a lifting point so as to lift the operation carrier. The suction hanging mechanism can be connected between the lifting point and the ferromagnetic undersurface. A lifting point is connected with at least two lifting mechanisms. The suction hanging mechanism comprises a connection part and a permanent magnet suction hanging device. The permanent magnet suction hanging device can be adsorbed on the ferromagnetic undersurface. The connection part is connected between the permanent magnet suction hanging device and the lifting point. The operation carrier can be directly suspended beneath the permanent magnet suction hanging device through the suction hanging mechanism. By the utilization of the permanent magnet suction hanging device which can be turned on and turned off, stepping translation of the suction hanging mechanism can be realized on the precondition of guaranteeing safe suction hanging. The whole structure is simple. The suspension operation apparatus has advantages of low overall cost, short construction preparation period and low labor cost.
