The invention discloses a transverse parking device which is composed of four parking platforms. Each parking platform comprises a vehicle moving base plate and a gradient plate, wherein four corners of the vehicle moving base plate are each provided with a sleeving shaft, and a supporting wheel is rotatably installed on each sleeving shaft in a matched and sleeving mode; each gradient plate is composed of an upslope portion and a flat plate portion, the top surface of each upslope portion is a slope, and one end of the highest point of each slope is connected with the corresponding flat plate portion; a rotation shaft is fixed in an installing hole in the joint of each upslope portion and the corresponding flat plate portion and located between two corresponding sleeving shafts, and the axial line of each rotation shaft is perpendicular to the corresponding sleeving shafts; the two ends of each rotation shaft is rotatably matched with the corresponding installing holes in the corresponding vehicle moving base plate. According to the transverse parking device, parking can be conveniently and smoothly completed in a labor-saving mode, a vehicle can be transversely parked between every two vehicles, a gap between every two vehicles is only slightly larger than the length of the vehicle to be parked, therefore, the problems that a parking stall is difficult to find and parking is difficult can be effectively solved, and the transverse parking device has good social and economical value.
