The invention discloses an intelligent monitoring system capable of preventing automobile rear-end collision. The intelligent monitoring system comprises a GPS navigator, a millimeter-wave radar device electrically connected with a microcontroller in the GPS navigator, an automobile distance determining module connected with the microcontroller and used for processing distance measuring result data output by the millimeter-wave radar device to obtain the actual automobile distance, an alcohol detection module connected with the microcontroller and used for detecting automobile interior alcohol concentration of the position close to an automobile driver, and an anti-collision monitoring module connected between an oil way control switch and the microcontroller. The intelligent monitoring system is used for intelligent monitoring according to own traveling speed of an automobile, the actual distance between the automobile and a front automobile (or a front obstacle) and information that whether drunk driving exists or not, and the intelligent monitoring system is simple in structure, easy to obtain and convenient to use.
