The invention relates to a wall climbing robot traveling mechanism on the basis of negative pressure adsorption feet, which comprises a driving wheel, a driven wheel, a chain and a group of negative pressure adsorption feet. Each negative pressure adsorption foot comprises a sucker and a sucker rod; each sucker is mounted at the lower end of the corresponding sucker rod; the upper end of each negative adsorption rod is connected with a corresponding piston; the upper part of each piston is connected with the lower end of a corresponding up-pressing spring; a sliding cavity is formed in each shell; the upper end of each up-pressing spring is pressed against the top wall of the corresponding sliding cavity; each sucker rod and the corresponding piston are sealed and assembled in the corresponding sliding cavity in an up-and-down slideable manner; an inner cavity of each sucker rod is hollow; a sucker rod negative pressure port and a sucker rod atmospheric port are formed on the wall face of each sucker rod; a shell negative pressure port and a shell atmospheric port are also formed on the wall face of each shell; difference of a distance between each sucker rod negative pressure port and the corresponding sucker rod atmospheric port and a distance between each shell negative pressure port and the corresponding shell atmospheric port is a displacement stroke of the corresponding piston; the negative pressure port of each shell is connected with a negative pressure generation device; an electromagnetic device is mounted in each shell outside the corresponding piston. The wall climbing robot traveling mechanism has a simplified structure, adopts a small number of elements, has a small volume and is low in cost.
