The invention discloses a copper-aluminum composite conductor rail and a manufacturing method thereof. The copper-aluminum composite conductor rail comprises an aluminum rail and a copper conductive bar connected to the aluminum rail, wherein the copper conductive bar is provided with a conductive contact surface used for being in contact with a current collector of a locomotive; the conductive contact surface is a plane; two or more than two copper-aluminum composite conductive plates are further arranged between the aluminum rail and the copper conductive bar; each copper-aluminum composite conductive plate comprises an aluminum plate and a copper plate connected integrally; each aluminum plate is connected with the aluminum rail; each copper plate is connected with the copper conductive bar. The copper-aluminum composite conductor rail has the advantages of simple structure, likeliness in manufacturing, low manufacturing cost, high electrical conductivity, non-likeliness in heating, high safety, high reliability and the like. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: preparing the aluminum rail, the copper conductive bar and the copper-aluminum composite conductive plates; performing press-fitting molding; additionally arranging a copper fastening bolt. The manufacturing method has the advantages of being convenient to operate, beneficial for processed production, high in production efficiency and the like.
