The wireless-communication-based digital bimodule train tail system comprises a locomotive, a train tail locomotive platform, a train tail host machine, a wireless communication device, a maintenance and management controller, a monitor, a library inspection station, a train tail host machine detecting platform and a locomotive number conformation instrument, wherein the train tail locomotive platform is installed on the locomotive; the train tail host machine is installed on the train tail locomotive platform; the wireless communication device and the maintenance and management controller are installed in a machine room on the ground; the monitor is installed in a maintenance and management room; the library inspection station is installed at a locomotive in and out-stock detecting point. The wireless-communication-based digital bimodule train tail system has the beneficial effects that due to the the integral function of the digital bimodule train tail system, the communication efficiency of the truck train tail is improved, the communication distance problem of the train tail at a mountain tunnel section is solved, a GPRS communication mode is adopted under the condition with a GSM-R network, so that the use of relay equipment is reduced, and normal use of the train tail is guaranteed under combination of GPRS and 400MHz digital bimodule train tail.
