The invention discloses a selective opening and closing type equipotential connecting device of a subway shield door and a control method of the device. The device is that a steel rail and the subway shield door are connected through an equipotential connecting wire; a connecting mechanism is arranged and is in a normal opening state; a voltage measuring device is used for measuring the potential difference between the steel rail and the subway shield door; a connecting mechanism monitoring control module is used for acquiring voltage data measured by the voltage measuring device, a switching signal of the subway shield door and a closing state signal of an equipotential connecting wire connecting mechanism, and then performing logic determining; when the connecting mechanism of the equipotential connecting wire is disconnected and if the shield door is opened and the potential difference of a steel rail exceeds a setting value, the connecting mechanism is closed, and otherwise, the current state is maintained; when the connecting mechanism of the potential connecting wire is closed and if the shield door is closed, the connecting mechanism is opened, and otherwise, the current state is maintained. With the adoption of the scheme, the device has the advantages that the safety of passengers getting on or off a bus can be ensured; the problem of igniting of the shield door can be solved; the reliability is high.
