The invention provides an automatic adjusting device of a seat for drivers. The automatic adjusting device comprises a capacitive sensor, an operational amplifier, an A/D (analog/digital) converter, a controller and a servo motor. The capacitive sensor is arranged on a ceiling above the seat for the drivers, measures electric fields of human bodies and outputs electric field distribution signals; the operational amplifier is connected to an output end of the capacitive sensor and amplifies power; the A/D converter is connected to an output end of the operational amplifier and converts the electric field distribution signals in analog forms into digital signals; the controller is connected to the A/D converter, receives the electric field distribution signals in digital forms, computes the distances from the tops of the heads of the drivers to the ceiling according to the electric field distribution signals and outputs seat adjusting signals; the servo motor receives the seat adjusting signals outputted by the controller and adjusts the height and the front-back position of the seat.
