The invention discloses a front fork folding mechanism of a small surfing scooter. The front fork folding mechanism comprises a front fork assembly, a slider, a tension spring, a bakelite bolt, a bakelite nut, a frame sector piece and a pin shaft; the rear-side connecting piece of the front fork assembly is rotatably mounted in the frame sector piece by use of the pin shaft; the slider is fixed on the rear-side connecting piece of the front fork assembly; the bakelite nut is screwed down at the front end of the bakelite bolt; one end of the tension spring is connected with the bakelite bolt, while the other end of the tension spring is connected with the pin shaft; a plurality of clamping grooves are formed at the outer edge of the frame sector piece, respectively; the slider is clamped in one of the plurality of clamping grooves. The front fork folding mechanism is reasonable in structure, so that the front fork assembly can be in a riding state or a folding state; the two states can be switched by pushing the slider; the front fork folding mechanism is simple to operate; the front fork assembly can be reversed backwards without demounting the front fork assembly; the height of the scooter body is shortened, the space for storage and transportation is reduced, the packaging process is simplified, and the production and transportation costs can be effectively reduced.
