The invention discloses an automatic clamping and hoisting device for a bridge crane. The automatic clamping and hoisting device comprises a hoisting framework and a down pressing self-locking mechanism, wherein a hoisting hanging ring for fixing a hoisting steel wire rope is arranged on the upper end face of the hoisting framework; the down pressing self-locking mechanism comprises a down pressing disk, a down pressing rod perpendicularly and fixedly arranged on the lower end face of the down pressing disk and self-locking claws connected with the down pressing rod through rotating shafts; the self-locking claws are formed by welding transverse rods and inclined rods; one end of each transverse rod extends into the hoisting framework through a hinge shaft and the down pressing rod, and each inclined rod is fixed at the other end of each transverse rod through a welding machine; welded parts of the inclined rods and the transverse rods are fixedly arranged on the inner wall of the hoisting framework through the rotating shafts; a reset spring mounted on the down pressing rod sleeves between the lower end face of the down pressing disk and the upper end face of the hoisting framework. According to the automatic clamping and hoisting device adopting the technical scheme, a barrel-shaped object is placed on the down pressing disk; under the action of the gravity, the down pressing disk moves down, and the transverse rods move down, too; therefore, the unfolding angles of the inclined rods are inwards contracted, and an antiskid rubber block is attached to and clamps the barrel-shaped object to finish the self-clamping operation.
