The invention provides a side wing structure for a low-altitude civil rotorcraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing. The side wing structure is simple, and largely reduces the integral size of the rotorcraft on the land, so that the rotorcraft can be better operated on the land. The side wing structure comprises a machine body, and is characterized in that side rotary base wings are connected to the machine body through rotating shafts and rotate on the machine body through the rotating shafts, annular hydraulic cylinders are arranged on the machine body and are connected to the side rotary base wings through annular piston rods, and side rotary end wings are connected to the side rotary base wings through spline shafts.
