The invention relates to the field of two-wheel electric vehicles, and in particular to an electric vehicle capable of being automatically braked. The electric vehicle comprises a frame, a front wheel, a rear wheel, a saddle, a handlebar, a headlamp, pedals, rearview mirrors and a storage battery. The whole vehicle is supported by the frame, and the front wheel and the rear wheel are mounted at the front end and the rear end of the frame respectively; the pedals are arranged at the position, close to the lower portion, of the middle of the frame; the saddle is arranged at the position, close to the upper portion, of the middle of the frame, and the storage battery is arranged on the front portion of the saddle and is tightly close to the saddle; a front brake disc is arranged on the front wheel, and a rear brake disc is arranged on the rear wheel; obstacle detection sensors are arranged on the front brake disc and the rear brake disc; and the sensors are electrically connected with the storage battery, the front brake disc and the rear brake disc. According to the electric vehicle capable of being automatically braked, the sensors are adopted to detect obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle, and appearing of the manual misoperation condition under the emergency condition is prevented; and using safety of the electric vehicle is improved.
