The invention belongs to the technical field of vehicle fittings, and relates to a novel self-generating bicycle illuminator. The novel self-generating bicycle illuminator specifically consists of a direct-current generator, a rear wheel, an LED flashlight, a frame, a control box, a reed switch, a photosensitive sensor and a lithium battery. The direct-current generator is mounted on a rotating shaft of the rear wheel, and is connected with the control box through a lead. The direct-current generator charges the storage battery through a charging circuit in the control box for electricity transmission. The LED flashlight is driven by a DC-DC constant-current source circuit; and turning-on and turning-off of the LED flashlight are judged and controlled by the control box acquiring the information of the reed switch and the photosensitive sensor. The novel self-generating bicycle illuminator can be suitable for various bicycles without needing additional external batteries, uses the electricity generated through the rotation of wheels with high efficiency to implement the night illuminating and warning functions, and realizes intelligent illuminating control.
