The invention discloses an elevator quick-response security system which comprises a mechanical compression bar brake module, a caliper disc brake module and a graded hydraulic buffering module. A mechanical compression bar is used for sensing the tension changes of a lifting rope of a lift car, the caliper disc brake module is used for sensing overspeed of the lift car, and the graded hydraulic buffering module fully utilizes the space of the bottom of a pit, absorbs the impacting kinetic energy of the lift car step by step, and reduces the bottom pounding impacting force of the lift car. The elevator quick-response security system has the advantages that modular design is adopted, and the elevator quick-response security system is of a pure mechanical structure; the tension changes of the lifting rope of the lift car are utilized for triggering a safety caliper for the first time; the space at the bottom of the pit is utilized fully, the lift car is slow down through step-by-step energy absorption, overspeed is sensed through a reel, the system directly acts on the reel, the process is simple and direct, and results are efficient. The whole system is simple in principle and structure, the system can be additionally mounted on an existing traction type elevator by slightly changing the mounting mode of a security module, an existing elevator system does not need to be redesigned, and the system is convenient to popularize.
